Love Found You

True love can be true no matter what form it takes.
These past few weeks have been a bit funny and interesting in so many ways. Essentially, though, many people in my life have been asking me about my love life or the reason why I lack such a thing in my life.
Well, it's not that I have taken a vow of celibacy or have any inclinations to become a monk someday. However, I just recently found a great and better way to spend my time as a guy starting his twenties.

Though I may seem prepared to be in a relationship at the moment, there's just no way I'm making any space right now for anyone else because many things in my life haven't been settled yet. No, I'm not expecting everything to be solved or figured out before I start courting--or professing my undying love (Haha) to-- someone. I am, however, aware of the freedom that comes with singleness.

I see many youth (And I don't even have to look far) around me desperately trying to find someone who can "perfectly fit the spaces between their fingers," "complete them," "love them for who they are," etc. The list of what both the young and the not-so-young want nowadays never ceases to grow. Unfortunately, many of their pursuits prove to be in vain.
True love is not sought because TRUE LOVE already found you.
You don't have to search for someone, who can meet all your standards and ideally exceed them. You don't have to spend so many hours crying over someone, who mercilessly trampled on your heart. You don't have to wallow in loneliness because someone dumped or rejected you. You don't have to feel alone.

Thankfully, I also see many adolescents nowadays living their lives to the fullest; not letting their losses stop them from being happy. Most of these people are so crazy about loving God and they're really focused on living each day for Him. Now you might say that I'm being too spiritual or something, but this is an accurate observation.

We can go on and on about God's existence or non-existence, but it all comes down to what people are constantly looking for: acceptance and unconditional love. You see people run after numerous pleasures everyday and later on, see most of them lost and even more broken than when you first came across them. People want to be free and loved and these are the things that God's offering through JESUS CHRIST.

Give it a shot. Discover this love: the one love that found you. This is the only love that died for you even if you were unlovable, messed up, stubborn (Romans 5:8). This is the love that can transform you (2 Cor 5:17). :)
