The Good Kind of "LOST"

Everyone gets lost sometimes; some more often than others. It seems to be natural for man to get lost because it's also natural for everyone to be stubborn every now and then. We lose our way not primarily because of a broken and messed up sign, but because we're not looking at the right signs.

All of us are also afraid of getting lost because we may never find the right path again. So why are talking about this again? Why should this Christian blogger care about someone else getting lost? Well, I care because I'm also lost.
I'm lost in God's great love.
This love transcends heaven and earth. It even exceeds the boundaries of the universe. How do I know? God showed me. When Jesus spread His arms while He was being crucified for my sins, I saw just how deep, wide, and immeasurable this gift is. He didn't fight the nails, whips, thorns, spear, and humiliation. He didn't resist the price of standing between us and death. He simply didn't.

Instead, His arms were opened wide; His heart even wider. This love that died for an enemy is something that I can only dream to understand. It is, though, something I will eternally be grateful for. Even if I was once lost in seemingly endless worldly pursuits, JESUS found me. This love found me and now, I'm so lost in the same thing that led me back towards the right path.

I'm lost, so lost, in this indescribable love that crossed the darkness and endured inexplicable pain for me. This is what I believe in: JESUS offers something that every person needs. Actually, He offers everything and exceeds every expectation we have.
Jesus offers what he lost when He died for us: LIFE. (John 6:35)
If you want to live, die (Galatians 2:20).
If you want to change, surrender everything. And I mean everything; every single thing to JESUS. God promises you and I personally assure you that nothing in your life will ever be the same again. Absolutely nothing will ever be as dull and saddening as before. Everything will be made new. Everything will be changed because of the LOVE that saved the world.
